ភ្នំពេញ ៖ នៅថ្ងៃទី៥ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ លោកឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្រ្តី ប្រាក់ សុខុន រដ្ឋមន្រ្តីការបរទេស និងសហប្រតិបត្តិការអន្តរជាតិ បានអញ្ជើញទទួលអាហារការងារថ្ងៃត្រង់ជាមួយ លោក Hunt VanderToll ឧបការីរងរដ្ឋមន្រ្តីការបរទេសអាម៉េរិក ទទួលបន្ទុកកិច្ចការអាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍ និងអាស៊ាន ក្នុងឱកាសដែលលោកអញ្ជើញមកបំពេញទស្សនកិច្ចការងារនៅព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា។
ក្នុងឱកាសនៃជំនួបនេះ លោកឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្រ្តីបានបញ្ជាក់ជាថ្មីអំពីការវាយតម្លៃខ្ពស់របស់កម្ពុជាចំពោះ តួនាទីបុរេសកម្មរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាម៉េរិក ក្រោមការដឹកនាំរបស់ប្រធានាធិបតី Donald J. Trump ក្នុងការគាំទ្រ និងសម្របសម្រួលឲ្យមានកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងឈប់បាញ់នៅថ្ងៃទី២៨ ខែកក្កដា និងកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងសន្តិភាពទីក្រុងគូឡាឡាំពួ នៅថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែ តុលា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ ក្នុងជម្លោះព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ក៏ដូចជាការបន្តតាមដាននិងចូលរួមរបស់អាម៉េរិកក្នុងការជំរុញការអនុវត្តកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងសន្តិភាពទីក្រុងគូទ្បាទ្បាំពួនេះ។
ភាគីទាំងពីរក៏បានពិនិត្យពិភាក្សាលើវឌ្ឍនភាពជាវិជ្ជមាននៃទំនាក់ទំនងទ្វេភាគីរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ និងការពង្រឹងភាពជាដៃគូយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រគ្រប់ជ្រុងជ្រោយរវាងអាស៊ាន-អាម៉េរិក ផងដែរ។ ភាគីទាំងពីរបានបញ្ជាក់ជាថ្មីនូវការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរួមគ្នា ក្នុងការពង្រឹងបន្ថែមនូវចំណងមិត្តភាពដ៏យូរអង្វែងរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ និងការពង្រីកកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការឱ្យកាន់តែស៊ីជម្រៅលើគ្រប់វិស័យដែលមានផលប្រយោជន៍ទៅវិញទៅមក។
On 5 June 2026, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, hosted a working lunch with Mr. Hunt VanderToll, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Southeast Asia and ASEAN Affairs , during his working visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister reiterated Cambodia’s deep appreciation for the proactive role played by the United States, under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, in supporting and facilitating the Ceasefire Agreement on 28 July, and the Kuala Lumpur Peace Agreement on 26 October 2025 in Cambodia-Thailand border conflict, as well as its continued engagements in advancing the implementation of the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord.
Both sides also reviewed and discussed the positive progress in bilateral relations and the strengthening of ASEAN-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to further enhancing the long-standing friendship between the two countries and deepening cooperation across a wide range of areas of mutual interests. ៕
