Keynote Address by H.E. Chum Sounry, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Internatioinal Cooperation (MFAIC):

1. The MFAIC categorically rejects baseless accusations against Cambodia made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand during its briefing to the Diplomatic Corps in Bangkok on 4 August 2025.

The MFAIC wishes to clarify as follows:
– Cambodia did not start the conflict. On the contrary, it has consistently exercised maximum restraint in the face of Thai military provocations. The border tensions stem from Thailand’s repeated incursions into Cambodian territory in violation of existing agreements, including the 2000 MoU and international law. READ MORE.
