“The Brazilian government received with satisfaction the news of agreement reached on 28 July  between Thailaland and Cambodia regarding an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, announced at the end of a meeting held in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

Brazil reaffirms its commitment to the peaceful resolution of disputes and the strengthening of multilateralism, and encourages both parties to continue their diplomatic efforts with a view to building lasting peace, for the benefit of their peoples, the Southeast Asian region and the international  community.”
